Above all, amusement device mechanics are responsible for full compliance of elevating devices in accordance with:

All applicable advisories, bulletins, and guidelines
An “incident” is defined as a consequence to a person or property.
Incident reporting is required by law

Promptly report all incidents, accidents, and hazardous conditions to the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA)
As a certified amusement device mechanic, you are required to:
Stay current with all licensing requirements, Code Adoption Document amendments, compliance standards, required maintenance schedules and manufacturer’s bulletins for amusement devices.
Renew your certificate every year.
Report any changes to your certificate information to TSSA within 30 days.
