Working together for a safer Ontario today and tomorrow is a shared responsibility.
That’s why we created the annual Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) Safety Awards Program. Our awards recognize people and organizations that have made significant contributions to public safety in Ontario.
Nominations are submitted to TSSA by external stakeholders in the first half of the year. We then honour the recipients at the TSSA’s annual public meeting, held in the fall.
Two award categories recognize acts and initiatives that enhance public safety for Ontarians.
Impact Awards highlight significant contributions to safety in Ontario that go above and beyond regulatory compliance.
Legacy Awards recognize people or organizations that have demonstrated a conscientious safety history over time.
If you know an individual or organization who should be considered for an Impact or Legacy award, simply download a nomination form and email it to safetyawards@tssa.org. Call for a nominations for Safety Awards 2025 will re-open in spring of 2025. For more information, read the the Safety Awards Brochure.
