  • TSSA and Consumers

    At the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA), we play a crucial role in ensuring your safety as you live, work, and play in Ontario.

  • Find a Registered Fuels Contractor Tool

    Only TSSA-registered Fuels Contractors can legally do fuels-related work in Ontario. Use this tool to find or verify companies with a valid TSSA registration.

  • Fraudulent Fuels Workers

    Fraudulent fuels workers are known for performing less expensive work with cheaper, unsafe materials. This can be dangerous or even deadly.

  • Product Recalls

    TSSA occasionally shares news about safety recalls related to the industries, devices and equipment we regulate. 

  • Elevator Availability

    We collect data on elevators in residential buildings and long-term care homes that have been out of service for more than 48 hours. Use this portal to view, report or correct data on out-of-service elevators.
