The Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) regulates the following ski lifts, passenger ropeways and conveyors as specified in Ontario’s Technical Standards and Safety Act, 2000 (the Act) to ensure they conform to the Act, Ontario Regulation 209/01 - Elevating Devices, the CAN/CSA-Z98 Passenger Ropeways and Passenger Conveyors safety code as well as any other regulations or adopted safety codes and standards. and applicable regulations and codes.
